Discover Cambodia

For many people, Cambodia brings to mind ancient temples, rich history, and incredible food. Scuba diving is rarely the first thing they think of, and that’s exactly what makes discovering it so rewarding.

Stretching along the Gulf of Thailand, Cambodia’s coastline is home to tropical islands, coral reefs, colourful marine life, and warm waters that can be enjoyed for much of the year. While it may not have the international reputation of some of its neighbours, it offers something many divers come to appreciate: a more relaxed pace, uncrowded dive sites, and the chance to explore somewhere that still feels a little undiscovered.

What has kept me here, though, is about more than the diving. It’s the people. Whether it’s local fishermen who know these waters better than anyone, Khmer colleagues in the dive industry, or the communities that welcome visitors with genuine warmth, the people are a huge part of what makes Cambodia special. They’ve taught me a great deal, both above and below the surface, and I hope this blog reflects some of that appreciation.

Whether you’re planning your first dive in Cambodia, returning for another trip, or simply curious about what the country has to offer beneath the surface, I hope you’ll find something useful here.
